Medium: Acrylic and paper machete on canvas
Description: This piece is made with paper maché and a heavy amount of acrylic paint on canvas. It weighs almost 150 pounds and it is a three-dimensional view of a wheat field. Some portions of this painting stick out up to five inches from the canvas. This impressionistic piece, with its bright colors and textures, makes quite a visual statement when seen in person. I picked up this piece after the famous Eileen Horowitz Gallery liquidated all of its inventory in the mid-1990s.
