The Committee by Nathan Redwood
Title: The Committee
Artist: Nathan Redwood
Medium: Acrylic on canvas
Description: The story behind this painting is that the woman to the left represents the artist’s mother. The other five people in the photo are the artist’s brothers and himself. The artist is the one balancing the broom on his finger. The rose is symbolic of the mother’s loneliness and longing now that all five sons have left the home. Nathan trained at the Chicago Art Institute and his works can occasionally be seen at the Art One Gallery in Scottsdale.
