Description: Hunt Slonem is an eccentric artist from New York and he believes he can channel the undead. One of the person’s he channels is Rudolf Valentino, the famous silent movie actor. Here his brush strokes and colors are rich and thick (he mixes all his own paint himself), and puts it on canvases in which he stretches himself. He is one of the Great America Artists of our time and recently received a lifetime achievement award in New York in 2007.
